Important project developed in May 2018 was thanks to knowing José Miguel Martínez Medina, renowned architect, designer and industrialist who had in mind the creation of the brand "BlackTone" that grouped furniture and works of art. The result of the collaboration was a stimulating look at the classics and where I could make versions of works by Velázquez, Mariano Fortuny and Goya. The works have accompanied the design of JMM in important international fairs, the last the Furniture Fair of Milan.
A R T W O R K S for J U S T I C E
A project is always good news, it allows you to develop your activity in collaboration with other people. In recent years, I have carried out three that have been especially stimulating. Thanks to Cristina Jiménez director of the Foundation for the investigation of Law and Business "Fide", we proposed in 2015 "Painting Justice", consisted of a book that would be edited by Thomson Reuters Aranzadi and a parallel exhibition. It was a vision of Justice by important law firms where each interview would be accompanied by a work specially painted for an office. The project meant a dialogue between Art and Law, between plastic and legal authorities.
From the good relationship created with FIDE came the proposal to use your space for a sample about my work, this has been the result:

I finish with a project that I developed on October 20, 2019 and that consisted of painting a live version of one of the star works of the National Museum of Art of Catalonia, “The Battle of Tetouan” by Mariano Fortuny, whose dimensions are 3x10 meters. His interpretation in a contemporary language has been an exercise in pure pictorial language and where risk and improvisation have played an important role in addition to the resources of the painter's trade.
