O r d e r y o u r s e l f - P o r t a i t
Coming from the comic, the first thing I had to try to avoid when taking a portrait is excessive synthesis, that is, to solve with lines what requires tones, shadows, brightness and lights. Another thing to avoid is excessive information and references, the portraits of the great masters are overwhelming, the history of painting and photography is full of great examples. For this reason, when it comes to approaching a portrait, I do it as with was landscape, the face is also a kind of landscape, but it transmits with such intensity that it is best to simply reflect it.
